The Great Lakes State… such unparalleled beauty. Michigan will truly amaze those who visit for the first time and wonder why it is their first time. For those of us that are from or live in the Mitten now, we know what it is like and yet it still amazes us.

Surrounded by 4 of the 5 Great Lakes, Michigan is home to everything from miles of sandy beaches on Lake Michigan to rugged and rocky shorelines on Lake Superior. From the vibrant urban centers to the small towns, from the acres of orchards and vineyards to the remote wildness, there is something for everyone in every beautiful season that Michigan has to offer.

My goal is to capture and preserve her beauty through my photography for all to enjoy. While I do shoot the popular spots, I also try to find the little beauty in less obvious spots…

While I no longer live in Michigan (soon to be rectified), it will always be home and I visit often, in both the Upper and Lower Peninsulas. My heart is happy when I see that Welcome to Pure Michigan sign and I know that I’m home.
